Juliens Cors awarded Best Poster at Nanotech Montreux Conference
Juliens Cors, our external PhD student from the S&T dept (AMI group), received the award for best poster at the 19th edition of the International Conference for Micro & Nanotechnologies for the Biosciences in Montreux, Switzerland for this work “Microscale biopatterning with hydrodynamically confined liquids on a scanning probe”co-authored with D. Taylor, J. Autebert and G. V. Kaigala.
T-ASE Best New Application Paper Award
The paper "Robust Electromagnetic Control of Microrobots Under Force and Localization Uncertainties" by Hamal Marino, Christos Bergeles and Bradley J. Nelson was awarded with the Best New Application Paper Award at the IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering Conference, Gothenburg, Sweden 2015.
Famin Qiu honored with Chinese Government Award
Our PhD student Famin Qiu has been granted the 2014 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad by China Scholarship Council (CSC).
MSRL-Team wins Mobile Microrobotics Challenge at ICRA 2015
The MSRL-Team competed in the Mobile Microrobotics Challenge held at the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), May 26-30, 2015, Seattle, Washington, USA and won first place in the Microassembly Challenge.
