Functional Materials and Applications

The development of new functional materials is essential for building microrobots with versatile functionalities. In our lab, we are developing different fabrication technologies such as 3D printing and template based electrodepostion. We are also developing advanced functional materials using innovative approaches to fabricate robotic components for future medical devices and classes of actuators.
