Design of magnetic navigation systems

Our group have been developing magnetic navigation systems (MNS) at different scales as represented in the figure below. We use this technology to manipulate various magnetic systems including:

- Micro-nano magnetic particles
- Helical swimmers
- Magnetic catheters and needles

Our MNS are composed of a set of current-controlled electromagnets that can generate heterogeneous magnetic fields within a calibrated workspace. Our research also focuses on:

-        The design of electromagnets and their arrangement in space
-        The modeling of the field produced by the MNS
